OUR MISSION
To establish a tangible national symbol of gratitude, as a visible reminder to all Americans, that perpetually
recognizes all military lives lost in defense of our national freedoms.

In the more than 200 years of our nation’s history there has never been
an officially recognized symbol that reminds us daily of the sacrifices made by
members of our military and the lives lost in service to our country.
We propose the Honor and Remember Flag as a national emblem for that purpose. Click here to sign the petition.

It's hard to believe that a year has passed since we unveiled the Honor and Remember Flag on Memorial Day 2008.
Looking back, I am amazed at the significant progress we have made toward our goals.
Personalized Honor and Remember Flags have been respectfully presented to over 100 family members; parents,
spouses and children, including families of the 17 sailors killed in the attack on the USS Cole. Many
additional ceremonies are being planned this summer. The requests for personalized flags are growing as more
families and organizations become aware of our campaign.
Virginia Congressman Randy Forbes introduced HR 1034, a bill to officially adopt the Honor and Remember
Flag as a national symbol. Co-sponsors are being added regularly. Just last week the Pennsylvania House of
Representatives has unanimously passed resolution No. 275 in support of the flag, as have many cities in
Virginia, Pennsylvania and other states. ... Click here to read the full newsletter.
