| from the VA's own website as to WHY the VA provides a burial flag for every veteran: A United States flag is provided, at no cost, to drape the casket or accompany the urn of a deceased Veteran who served honorably in the U. S. Armed Forces. It is furnished to honor the memory of a Veteran?s military service to his or her country. "to HONOR THE MEMORY..." And this is why we do not need any other flag as a symbol of service and sacrifice. WE ALREADY HAVE ONE. **** I so appreciate the comment and am so sorry for your loss. Blessings, George****

| I am the Aunt of 1st Lt. Joel C. Gentz from Grass, Lake, Michigan who was killed on June 9, 2010 in Afghanistan. This is a great idea to have a Universal Flag that can be personalized for all of us to remember those have who died for our freedom. "These things we do so that others may live." We love you Joel.
Love Aunt Karen

| I don't personally know any of the families of our fallen heros. I am moved to know of this group that honors them. What great sacrifices our soldiers have made, but what greater sacrifices are their families continuing to make! God bless every one of you.

| My father is a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. I'm so proud of his service and proud to be an American. Supporting our active troops is vital. Supporting them when they get home is even MORE important. A flag to remember those who didn't make it home, that died in service to our country and that we should remember daily is a great idea. I'm so sorry for this man's loss and for all the families who have lost their soldiers. God Bless Mr. Lutz and I hope this mission brings you some measure of solace and peace.
